  • Send us a message through our contact form and be sure to include as many details as possible. We’re excited to hear from you!

  • Our artists’ schedules can fill up quickly, so sometimes they will temporarily stop taking new appointments in order to avoid being booked solid for years in advance. If you were hoping to get a tattoo from certain artist but their books are closed, don’t worry! We can offer to set up an appointment for you with another available artist if your tattoo idea fits their style, or we may be able to add you to a waitlist for your preferred artist. Keep in mind that books can stay closed for months, so it may be a little longer until you are able to book your appointment if you are waitlisted. Being on the waitlist also does not guarantee you an appointment, typically artists will select projects from the waitlist when their books open. If you have a question about your tattoo idea and which artist might be the best fit to create it for you, send us a message via our booking form and we can make a recommendation for you!

  • Not usually. However, we do occasionally have last minute openings that we’ll announce on Facebook or Instagram - make sure you “like” or follow us to get the 411.

  • Sometimes, on a case by case basis. The success of a cover up is dependent upon many variables; the best way to see if a cover up can be done is to set up a consultation with an artist.

  • Not at all! Our artists always create their own original artwork customized to the design ideas that you bring us. In fact, the more creative freedom you entrust to them, the better.

  • We will never directly copy another artist’s work. However, we can always design something unique for you with a similar subject matter or style.

  • We’re open to considering all custom requests, but unfortunately because of how busy our artists get, we may not be able to take on every project. Our artists love to create unique, custom work in their own styles and preferred subject matter, and as such those projects will take first priority.

    Some examples of designs that might take second priority for our artists are PNW tree bands, clock/compass/map sleeves, biomech/body armor designs, tribal designs, or half lion/half cross type designs. We have nothing against these tattoo designs, they just might not fit with our artists’ preferred styles.

    Some other projects that might take second priority (on a case by case basis) are large cover ups or adding on to/fixing up another artist’s incomplete or messed up tattoo work.

    We will NEVER tattoo any hate symbols.

  • Yes. We are a disposal-only shop, so everything is single use.

  • Nope, but we highly recommend Aperture Piercing in Poulsbo.

  • Please have your photo ID ready when you come in for your appointment. Also, you’re welcome to bring snacks or drinks for yourself to help you through your tattoo.

  • You’re welcome to bring a friend for moral support; but more than one bonus person is a crowd.

  • While we love kids, we don’t allow them in the shop for a number of safety-related reasons. Please be sure to set up care for your kiddo prior to your appointment.

  • Because each tattoo is different for each person, we can’t give you a quote until you come in for a consultation appointment. Our shop minimum is $150 per person and our hourly rates start at $200. A $100 minimum non-refundable deposit is required to secure your tattoo appointment, insure the artist’s design time, and goes toward the cost of your tattoo.

  • If you need to cancel, remember that your deposit is 100% non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please give us AT LEAST 24 hours notice. Without proper notice, you’ll forfeit your deposit and another must be made before you can set up another appointment. We understand that things come up, but our artists’ time is valuable so if you reschedule your appointment more than three times, you will forfeit your deposit and must make a new one to reschedule.

  • Cash only, please and thank you!

  • Sorry, we are no longer offering gift certificates.

  • After your deposit has been paid and before your tattoo appointment, your artist will draw up your design - and if necessary, adjust it to your liking.

  • This is up to your artist, but in order to stay organized and protect our artists’ work we usually won’t send out designs ahead of time - instead your artist will present it to you when you come in to start your tattoo. Don’t worry though, you will always have a thorough consultation where you can discuss all the details of your tattoo with your artist prior to placing your deposit and setting up your appointment date!

  • Taking care of your body is a big deal. Before your appointment, make sure to eat a full meal and hydrate well. And because you’ll be in your artist’s personal bubble for quite some time, be sure to brush your teeth and use deodorant. If you’re getting your forearms tattooed and happen to be a smoker, make sure to wash your hands after you smoke. Make sure to steer clear of alcohol and/or drugs prior to your appointment.

  • We do not offer or provide topical anesthetics when you get tattooed. These products can actually change your skin a bit and make it more challenging for your artist to tattoo you, as well as making your skin even more sensitive when they wear off. If you are curious about using numbing creams, please ask your artist about it at your consultation appointment.

  • Please try to stay away from NSAIDs like ibuprofen, naproxen, and aspirin right before your tattoo appointment as they affect your blood clotting time and can make your tattooing and immediate healing time a little trickier. For relief after your appointment, Tylenol is your best option.

  • Proper aftercare is essential for keeping your tattoo looking good. Your artist will instruct you on how to take care of your tattoo at the end of your appointment. You can also find our recommended aftercare here.

  • It all hurts, no matter where you get tattooed. Pain tolerance varies from person to person.

  • We do occasionally consider taking on apprentices, depending on our availability at the shop. The ideal candidates are dedicated, friendly, and willing to learn all that they can. Usually when considering an applicant for an apprenticeship, we’ll ask you to come into the shop and hang out with us to draw for a few weeks, so we can all get to know each other and to see where you’re at artistically. If it feels like a good fit all around, we’ll have you back consistently to start learning the ropes at the shop. You’ll start learning the behind the scenes of tattooing, like setting up stations, and will eventually get to practice with a tattoo machine. You’ll get to learn technique from all of our awesome artists in the shop, and once you’re comfortable and get the okay from your mentor, you can start taking on clients. The length of apprenticeships can vary from person to person, and depends on a few factors including your skill level starting out and how much time you put in to learning.
